On regular 8.5 x 11 paper, use a variety of lines draw your name, fill it in with pattern and motif, and create a background using line. Complete this in ink. I will give you the pens.

4. Have a background.
5. Use the entire space.

assignment objectives:

1. Reflect your personality if you want a theme.

2. Have a center of interest

3. Demonstrate pasteup capability. No non-pasted edges.


the assignment: Pasteup the magazine photos you have collected to create a collage.

The collages should have a center of interest and should demonstrate good pasteup skills, meaning that all the edges should be flat on the surface. The size may be 8.5 x 11 or 11 x 17.
